Both crowns are screwdown and provide 100M water resistance. The "turbine" itself creates a dazzling effect and prevents the watch from ever being boring and, more literally, from losing power reserve as it winds the movement. The dial face beneath the rotor is luminescent which provides a very neat optical illusion. The second crown at the 10 o'clock marker is a screw down adjustment to set your "dive" time via a rotating chapter ring. This is our favorite method to set time mechanically, as opposed to the traditional rotating bezel. In this case, the large indice in place of "12" along with the Arabic numerals are luminescent and positively will not be accidentally jarred or advanced inadvertently.
