Description: Vintage Pair (2) of Lefton Japan Christmas Tree Salt and Pepper Shakers. Each measures 3 1/2" tall. Green trees with stocking and holiday ornaments on them, and gold trimmed starts at the top. The salt has 3 hole openings for shaking, the pepper has 2 holes. Both are empty and have their original stoppers. Lefton item #054/96. One shaker retains its original Lefton foil label. Very good condition. No chips, no cracks. The decorations on the trees were originally painted in different colors, most of which has worn, but you can still find a dab of color here-and-there. There is a small area of green color loss underneath the very bottom of one tree (see my last photo). ALL other bright white dots/areas of glare in my photos are reflections from lighting.
