ORIGINAL CIVIL WAR TIEMANN COMPANY NY AMPUTATION SURGICAL WOOD CASE BOX MEDICAL

Description: Up for sale is a nice rare Civil War surgeons Tiemann Company surgical box case. Purchased this kit a good while back, but sadly it was missing several tools. I am selling the box separate since it was not complete. I will also be selling many of the tools that were part of this kit including the amputation saw, surgical knives, cauterizer, and more...The box is complete with all purple velvet inserts and hardware. The only thing missing is the brass lock cover, and the key..as most are usually missing. The case overall measures 13" wide, by 6" deep and 3 1/2" tall. The bottom of the box has some letter stamping and what looks like some scribbling, but I am not able to make it out. This would be a great addition for those looking to piece a surgical display together, and if interested add the additional tools I will also be listing.
