Description: Up for sale is a one-of-a-kind destro/LHD Seiko Panda chronograph automatic wristwatch. It started its life in September of 1977 as a "regular" RHD (ref. 6138-8020) and it was fully serviced and converted to destro/LHD configuration in August of 2024. While there are plenty of signs of honest wear, the watch is in outstanding shape for a 47-year-old. The movement performs flawlessly -- see timegrapher pictures. A couple of things to note about the LHD conversion. Since everything is rotated 180 degrees, the chronograph start/stop button is now @ 8 o'clock. The chrono reset button is @ 10 o'clock. Also, the chronograph hour and minute totalizers (sub-registers @ 12 & 6 o'clock) have switched places with each other. In other words, the hour totalizer hand is now in the minute sub-register and vice versa. Finally, the date is displayed vertically, not horizontally. The bracelet should fit up to 8-inch wrists.
