Description: Nice Vintage O.K. No. 16 tap handle. Made by Greenfield Tap & Die in Greenfield, Mass. This is a heavy-duty toolmeasuring about 14-3/4" long when fully open. It has good solid steel handles about 5-3/4" long and 5/8" diameter. One handle turns to open and close the slide. Slide opening is about 5/8" wide. I checked capacity with a No. 8-32 tap and a 5/8-11 tap. I did not have a 3/4" tap to try but it appeared to have plenty of room left with the 5/8" in place. Minimum square size is about 9/64", maximum is about 1/2". O-K Made in USA and No.16 and a very small S7 is stamped on the non-movable handle. OQ is also stamped further out. There is a lot of partial stamping on the head that appears to have been intentionally ground away. Sold as shown in good working condition with wear and tarnishing. See pictures for details.
