Circa 1882 - 1886 Stoneware Jug with Stylized Blue Cobalt Pine Tree, Weight 5 lbs. 12 1/4 oz., height 10 1/2", base width 7.This is a mark of Nicholas A White and son Charles, who ran the family pottery in Utica, N.Y. from 1882 - 1886 (William Ketchum, Jr. Early Potters and Potteries of New Yok State). Base edge surface chip shown in pictures 5 & 6 is 3/4" length and1/8" width is superficial. We have owned for over 30 years.
