Description: MOSSBERG FIREARMS CO. NEW YORK 27" WHEEL BICYCLE 62 CM LUGGED FRAME & FORK 120MM 27" wheel lugged frame set, measures 24" (61 cm) tall from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the top tube, 25” (635 mm) from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat lug. The top tube measures 21 3/4” (552 mm) center to center, head tube is 220 mm. Main frame is cr-mo steel lugged tubing. 1” chrome threaded headset, 21.1 mm ID. Seat tube inner diameter is 26.8 mm. Rare 71 mm JIS square taper bottom bracket installed, spindle measures 127 mm. Horizontal stamp forged drop outs measure 120 mm wide, with double eyelets. Front fork has 100 mm dropouts with single eyelets. Top tube has two lower braze on cable housing stops. The down tube has two braze on cable housing stops and one braze on drilled in the center where shifters would be (not sure what this is for). Chainstay has two braze on cable housing stops. Mossberg bought out the Snyder plant where Rollfasts were made in the 1970's and began selling under their own moniker until the 1980's.
