Description: This is a rather substantial ring. It is crafted from solid very thick 18K yellow gold. The ring is a dome or star like design that is adorned with natural sapphires. It stands high off the finger at 12.5 mm. The sapphire in the ring a lovely with a really pleasing consistant blue. The center stone is an oval cabochon measuring in at roughly 2 Carats (9 x 7 x 3 mm). Around the crown of the ring are 6 additional round cabochons of matching color and quality sapphires. The top is a dome and the sides are kind of cut out. A rather interesting design that is very much star like. This ring is hallmarked on the inside with a B in a circle, unfortunately I do not know the artist but I do know this ring is extremely well crafted and heavy. It has been tested and confirmed as solid 18K yellow gold with natural earth mined stones.
