Dr. George Henry Winslow Tuttle was born to Enos and Augusta Winslow on September 1st, 1870. After the death of his father in 1873 he was adopted by a cousin of his mother, George W and Olive M Tuttle. He grew up in Portland Maine, in his 20s in lived in Butte, Montana where he worked as a Salesman for a Coal Company, that's where he met and married Mayme Kitson. George attended A. T. Still University where he received a Doctorate in Osteopathy in 1902. Mayme received her Doctorate in Osteopathy from A. T. Still in 1908. They both practiced in Portland, Maine until Georges death in 1914. George and Mayme had 2 children, George H Tuttle Jr and Margret Tuttle McPhail. Mayme moved to Montana and practiced in Great Falls following George's death.
