Description: Debut studio album by American rock singer Meat Loaf (Michael Lee Aday) and composer Jim Steinman. The album was developed from the musical Neverland, a futuristic rock version of Peter Pan which Steinman wrote for a workshop in 1974. Recorded during 1975–1976 at various studios, including Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, New York. Produced by Todd Rundgren, and released in October 1977 by Cleveland International/Epic Records. Certified 14x Platinum in US and 26x in Australia! Personnel includes members of New York Philharmonic and Philadelphia Orchestras (7) and Edgar Winter on saxophone (2, 4, 6). Multiple surface scratches, but it will still play. Jacket has wear including spine (most of it legible). Original inner sleeve had stains, so I left it in there but housed the LP in acid-free vinyl. Priced to sell. Worth a few bucks to have this album in your collection. Discounted this heavily.
