MCS 6700/Technics SL-1950 Direct Drive Turntable Work with both 7"+12" Spindles

Description: Up for sale is the Modular Component Systems MCS 6700 turntable. The MC 6700 was made by Technics and was based of the SL-1950. The only difference in the knobs and dials. Included with the turntable are both 33 (12") and 45 (7") record spindles as well as the single play spindle and 45 rpm adapter. The cartridge included is the Shure Presence 1 with a new stylus. The turntable was tested and is in working condition. Cosmetically, it is in very good condition. The plinth is clean and free of scratches. The platter and the platter mat are both clean. Tonearm is clean as well. There are some scratches on the dust cover (pics #11-13). The head shell has some discoloration (pics #4 and 5). Please refer to the pictures for all the cosmetic details. Functionally, the turntable is in working condition. Both 33 rpm and 45 rpm records were tested and speed was stable at both rpm. Tonearm is able to drop at the correct location with the selected record size. Sound output was excellent with the Shure Presence 1 cartridge and the new stylus has less than 30 minutes of play time, used mainly for testing purposes. Both multi-play spindles were tested and working. The turntable will be packed in fitted foam with the platter removed and shipped via FedEx Ground.
