Description: I am the original owner. This bearing block is just like new -- I have never used it. I do not have the original packaging, nor any literature or instructions that may have come with it originally, but it is not worn or damaged in any way. The design of this tool is by Matt Graham, and the manufacturer is Condor Tool & Knife, a company with a very good reputation for excellent knives and tools for hunters, bushcrafters, suvivalists and other outdoor enthusiasts. (I have owned a Condor bush crafting knife, and found it to be of excellent quality, and very good value for the price.) It is made from walnut, and has an inlaid metal cup (I'm guessing the cup is made from a super-hard aluminum alloy). It has a handy adjustable carrying loop which would allow it to be worn around the neck, wrist, or tied to a pack. It is a nice, ergonomic design -- a lot more comfortable and convenient than having to fabricate your own bearing block in the field, and since it is very light in weight, it won't weigh down your pack!
