Description: On offer is this lovely vintage figurine of an Airedale made by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory. The Lomonosov Imperial Porcelain Factory was founded in St. Petersburg in 1744 and was at that time the first porcelain factory in Russia and the 3rd in all of Europe. The previous owners had felt pads on the figurine's feet, and when they removed them, the stamp came with it. I think it had the red stamp, and you can see remnants of the red ink in photos 11-12. This figurine is so beautiful. The sculpt is finely done, and the colors are gorgeous. The dog looks so friendly and happy. This would be a great addition to a porcelain collection, especially for lovers of dogs. This will be shipped from our smoke- free home.
