Description: LOCAL OPERATOR “Law & Order” b/w “All We’re Gonna Get" 7” 45RPM British Pressing (small hole) Produced by Steve LilywhiteVirgin Records VS302 Thanks for viewing my sale for an 7” 45rpm by the band LOCAL OPERATOR, a punk/powerpop band that frequently played ska-influenced music. They recorded 2 singles in 1979 and one LP in 1980 before breaking up. Bandleader Joe Broadbery later formed Jo Broadbery and the Standouts and recorded one more LP before he died in 1987. This single gives ample evidence of Broadbery's seamless fusion of Elvis Costello's classy, poignant songcraft with the demi-reggae leanings of The Clash. CONDITION: New Old Stock (NOS) unplayed 45 vinyl single in NM condition and picture sleeve in VG+ condition (slight wrinkle in sleeve, plse see photos).
