Description: I am selling a used very clean 8632 locomotive with the air whistle. Tender. I have tested the locomotive. It goes forward neutral reverse it smokes, and it has a headlight. It runs flawlisly. It also has a rubber tire for traction. The issue I was having was with the tender. I replaced the tender shell because it was smashed I tested the whistle tender with my AC 1033. And it would not work .when I apply DC volts to the whistle. It worked great so I switched over and ran DC on The engine ,problem is the whistle continuously runs. So that's not good. So what I've done is picture 11 shows I added a groundwire to the motor and now it works with my 1033 ac transformer. The only issue is you just have to hit whistle a little bit and it'll scream if you go over half on the whistle control It will stop whistling don't know why.I believe the circuit board is the problem . It may work better with one of the newer Transformers. All I have is old Transformers, ZW etc. I cleaned the wheels. This thing is really, really nice selling as is any questions.
