BEAUTIFUL REVERSE PAINTED EGLOMISE GLASS TABLET MIRROR DIMENSIONS 31" x 15 1/4" x 2" DESCRIPTION Reverse painted eglomise glass tablet of a country farm scene, bordered by sunflower-like images. Black and gilt painted half columns with brass corner rosettes. Rough sawn beveled backboard. Early to mid 19th century. CONDITION Overall very good to excellent. All glass intact. Mirror glass may be the original. Some wear to the black and gilt painted frame. Backboard slightly separated from the frame, but securely in place (all visible in the images).
