Description: Truly just gorgeous... I never knew Kittinger even made candle holders. I believe these are turned from one piece of wood which would be a material heavy and time consuming process. Maybe why not many were produced. These have that attractive tulip top which I'm wondering if they borrowed from Tiffany who made that design style incredibly well known even iconic. The more time I spend with these the more their beauty grows on me. These do have repaired chips to the lips. One chip is a bit crudely glued back in. I imagine these damaged easily and that's why we don't see, well any today. Very rare, I'm not sure if you'll ever get a chance at these again. If you want something of Kittingers no one else has these would be it. And honestly these are so elegant and beautiful, Kittinger aside, they can stand on their own in any arts and crafts mission Tudor Spanish Revival home or even in today's modern home on a white linen table. You can't go wrong they look amazing anywhere you put them. Still have original labels on the base.
