Description: Pung Kil Japanese Maple features leaves that are very thin. They are a reddish color and will take on an orange-red hue in the Fall. It will get to be up to 12' tall and 10' wide. A very elegant variety of Japanese Maple. It will do well for many years in a container as it has a slow growth rate. Like all Japanese Maples it prefers a moist and acidic soil and some light shade, especially in the afternoon in areas with hot Summers. Hardy in Zones 5-8. These plants are in a 3 quart pot and are about 12" tall (see the photos). They will be shipped bareroot with the roots wrapped and protected from drying out. We do recommend that you pot it up for a while before putting it into the ground.
