Description: These quality grips are new, unused reproductions. They are imitation Jigged buffalo-horn grips. They fit the Heritage Arms "Rough Rider" large frame .357 & .45 revolvers. They will NOT fit the .22LR/.22Mag revolvers! NOTE: SOME FITTING MAY BE REQUIRED! NOTE: I do not manufacture these grips. I must rely on the manufacturer's information as to the description of these grips, which are considered by most as very high quality. Even after this offering, some buyers still insist upon giving me bad feedback. Please be considerate! Note: Some grips are sent with mounting screws that are too long. These #4 screws are very easy to cut to length. Do not grind the screw shorter, but cut it. A dremel tool with a cutoff wheel does an excellent job of cutting these screws. You will not damage the threads, and you cannot cross-thread this small screw. Rub the cut end on a piece of sandpaper to smooth it, and apply a dab of black magic marker to simulate the bluing. On many models of revolvers, the grip pins are not always located in the exact same place on every model, especially the older models. It is extremely easy to position a new hole, or slightly enlarge the existing one on the grip. Take any substance that will transfer a mark, (I use my wife's old lipstick) and dab it on the end of the pin on your revolver. Place the grip in position and press down to transfer the mark on to the grip. This will let you know where the hole should be. Either enlarge the hole or drill a new one. I realize that everyone is not mechanically inclined, so if the above actions are beyond your capabilities, request a refund through Ebay and I'll send a prepaid return label.Thank you!
