Decorated in a variant of the Schleiger 55 pattern with a gold gilt medallion in the center, a ring of pink roses, and a ring of purple flowers and gold scrollwork. Marked Haviland France in green on the bottom. This is an underglaze whiteware manufacturer's mark used by Haviland in Limoges France between 1893 and 1930. Also marked Haviland & Co Limoges France Made Expressly For Bailey Banks & Biddle Co in red. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Haviland in Limoges between 1876 and 1930. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide. I have multiple plates available. This listing is for 1 plate.
