Soy wax has a higher melting temperature, so these candles last 30-50% longer than other candle varieties. Average burn times 4oz - 20 hrs 8oz - 40 hrs 16oz - 80 hrs. When burning your soy candle for the very first time, burn it for at least 2-3 hours. This will prevent the candle from burning a large hole in the center of your candle. You will want to make sure each time you burn the candle you burn it for a minimum of 2-3 hours allowing the wax to complete melt across the top of the candle. This will ensure a more even burn. Keep the wick trimmed to inch. If you notice the wick is mushrooming or has a larger flame burning, trim wick back to prevent smoking and relight.
