I will thread holes where the broken bosses were and then mount them back into position with stainless steel, button head cap screws.I use a template with a depth stop to keep the drilled hole from going all the way through the casting.Better than new, you never have to worry about the poor factory design breaking andthey can easily be removed to paint.
