Description: I'll try to keep this sweet, short, and simple. Here we have a lot of various Greek and Roman coins from different time periods, rulers, etc. I will do my best to give you the most basic information for each coin, but some of it has been lost to time. First, there's a total of 16 coins. 1: Rare coin from the Nabataean Kingdom located in ancient Greece. This is a type of coin mentioned in the bible. It's 17mm and weighs 2.51 grams. 2: Emperor Trajan Silver Tetradrachm. Antioch mint 98-114AD. The coin is 23 mm and 11.20 grams. 3: Achaemenid (Persian) empire. It could've been minted between Darius I reign or Xerxes II sometime between 485-420 BC. It's a silver siglos type IIIb and is 15 mm and 5.54 grams in weight. 4: Roman Imperial Silver Denarius of Gordian III minted in 241AD in Rome. "Special Marriage Issue". Reference RIC IV, Part III, 129a. 5: Domitian (AD 95-96) AR Denarius. MINERVA holding spear Reverse. RIC II 193(790)/Cohen 290. 20 mm and 3.20 grams. 6: Dyrrhachion Illyria Silver Greek Drachm. Portrait of cow with calves suckling at teat. 15 mm and 3.09 grams. 7: Islands of Caria, Rhodes Silver Drachm coin. Minted between 125-88 BC. Portrait of Helios obverse, Rose Reverse. 15 mm and 2.09 grams. 8: Elagabalus beautiful bronze looking coin. Royal Eagle centered on the reverse between S-C with a wreath around the edges. Minted in Antioch 225AD. 20 mm and 3.90 grams. 9: Roman Imperial ae AS coin of the 4th emperor of Rome, Claudius. Minted between 41-54AD. LIBERTAS on reverse. 28 mm and 9.61 grams. 10: Teen Emperor Gordian III Silver Antoninianus. Portrait of Gordian facing right. MARS standing left, holding branch in right hand, spear in his right. His shield lies on the ground next to him. 23 mm and 4.04 grams. Number 11-15 are more or less unknown coins. I threw them in the lot as extra coins for you to research yourself or as lesser coins of the late empire to add to your collection. Except the silver one. I don't know anything about it as I'm unfamiliar with the coin. 16: VF/XF example of the Roman Emperor Aurelian Silver Antoninianus coin. Minted between 270-275AD. It has a beautiful green patina on it. If you have a good enough magnifying glass (Jewelers small one works just fine) you can see the silver radiating from the coins. I wanted to clean it so bad, but thought I'd pass it on so maybe the next owner won't be as tempted. 23 mm and 4.08 grams. 17: Military Emperor Probus with a beautiful portrait and a lot of detail still shown. PROVIDENT AVG on reverse. Providentia holding sceptre and globe. 22 mm and 3.44 grams. That concludes the list of coins available for sale. However, I've added a little bonus. With these coins you'll receive 5 1 gram Geiger .999 pure silver bars as a bonus. I'm not only trying to sell most of my ancient coins, but some of my bullion as well. You receive another picture at the end to give you an idea of what I'm selling. I have one 1/4 ounce gold round, several 1 ounce silver that comes in coins, rounds, square, and rectangular bars. I also have smaller denominations of 20, 10, 5, 2.5, and 1 gram bars. If this interests you just send me a message and let me know. You'll get it cheaper than any bullion shop that charges 15-20% over spot for you to buy it. But, this description has gone on long enough. I've probably lost most people's interest by now. Reach out with any problems or additional questions you may have. Thank you and good luck Respectfully, Stephen NOTE: ONLY the 5 one gram Geiger bars come with the order. The last page was just to show bullion I'm trying to sell.
