Description: Up for sale are two (2) Gladding McBean Pottery Franciscan Apple No. 706 bread & butter plates each measuring 6.5" across. The Franciscan Apple line of dinnerware began production in 1940 and these plates are marked with the original round black mark. These plates are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. And, for being 80 years old, these plates have almost no utensil marks or scratches.
