Description: A very nice Ghurka No. 2 is known as "The Express". It might also be called a duffle. It is rendered in leather that is a nice English Tan/Brown and the hardware is brass. The interior is lined with a Ghurka cloth in a classic check (see last photo). This bag comes with a Ghurka leather strap and a Ghurka leather bag tag. This bag has its own exclusive registration number! Currently this bag lists for $2695.00 new. It is offered here for less than 1/3 or that. The size (per Ghurka) is 19.5" long, 12" high (exclusive of handles), and 9.5" wide. There are dual top handles and a shoulder strap for ease of carrying. There is an interior lined compartment sufficiently sized to hold clothing for a weekend (or longer) away. There is an additional interior zippered and lined packet. On the exterior front there are two leather pockets (unlined) with leather flaps. Behind the flapped pockets there is a lined and zippered pocket. On the back side there is another lined and zippered packet. In addition there is one small lined and zippered end pocket. The top has loops to hold a folding umbrella (umbrella not included). In my experience this bag meets most airlines carry-on requirements. I have an identical bag and have never been stopped when bringing mine on board an aircraft. The bag is sold as is. It comes from a smoke free home but there are two dogs in house. That said, the back is kept in a closet away from the dogs. Please don't hesitate to ask questions.
