Description: This collector’s edition of this 1927 biography by Harold Lamb was published by the International Collectors Library. I purchased it new about 40 years ago and it has never been read. It is in very good condition (see pics) with a tight spine and contains a matching attached ribbon place marker (pic 6). The book has a deckle edge (pics 11-13) popular in the late 1800s and preferred by many collectors for the more antiquarian and refined look and feel. The book is approximately 8.5 by 5.5 by 1 inches and has 268 pages. It has the London Fleet Street binding (pics 1,4,5) used by ICL for its History, Biography and Philosophy classics. This copy has NO inside cover glue stains, but there is outer page discoloration (pics 11-13) due to age. Most notable are the one large and two small picks/scraps to the upper right back cover (pic 14). There are dents and wear to the book corners and edges (pics 15, 11-13). Free shipping will be USPS media rate. Please contact me with any questions and thanks for looking!
