This listing is for a custom order oil painting done on an old used vintage saw blade. Pleae allow enough time before your event (at least 2 weeks). It will be cleaned & neutralized against rust; then sealed with an acrylic sealer over a flat spray paint (either black or gray); and finally sealed again after the oil paint was completely dry. The back is prepared the same way....just no oil painting on it. My signature also will be added at the bottom in a contrasting paint. Please....DO NOT hang where direct sunlight of ANY kind can shine on these saw blades; or near a heat source. I seal them at the end with a sealer that allows gently wiping of dust off the face of the saws (with a damp rag ONLY), but please DO NOT immerse them in water as they will rust since they are real saw blades and made of metal and DO NOT use Handi Wipes of any kind, including Clorox and Lysol wipes! This would be the PERFECT gift for that hard-to-buy-for person in your life; good for hubby/wife who appreciates/collects "old" things, farm implements or "unique" OOAK items. Great for birthdays, Father's Day, anniversaries and Christmas gifts. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ALL OF THESE SAW BLADES ARE REAL AND THAT MOST OF THEM ARE STILL SHARP (some sharper than others), SO PLEASE HANDLE WITH CARE! This will be mailed out Priority Mail in a Flat-Rate envelope so that insurance is also included.
