The set features raised enamels throughout, with various elders throughout. The raised pottery atop the foreground forms a dragon that wraps around each tea vessel. A remarkable amount of time, effort and skill was required to make these pieces. The set is signed in calligraphy on the underside of the teapot. The set is medium size, with tea cups measuring 3.5" in diameter, and the teapot measuring 7.75" tall and 8.5" wide. Condition: The last 5 photographs clearly document the main issues of concern. (1) The dragon's nose on the lid of the teapot was broken and glued back in place (two pictures, one of each side), (2) the dragon's nose on the creamer has what is likely an age crack where it extends about 1/2 way into the nose, but not all the way through, (3) one of the plates has a small chip to the edge, and (4) there appears to be a thin area of loss to the enamel on the handle, very minor, and likely "as made." Despite these issues, the set presents exceptionally well.
