Description: This is a replica drawtube for the venerable Astroscan telescope. It is 3D printed with a matte black finish and matches the original drawtube dimensions. Small undercut added inside to add rigidity to the backend of the tube and to act as a small light baffle to inhibit stray light. Much lighter weight than the stock drawtube (0.55oz vs 2oz). The tiny layer lines from the 3D printing actually help with traction for this style of compression focuser, so if you have slip issues with your original drawtube, this may be a good option (I prefer it to the stock drawtube). Test fit with many different eyepieces, due to the variation in "1.25" between all the different makers, some will fit tighter than others. I optimized the fit for the Edmund RKE line so they insert smooth but provide enough tension that they won't fall out if inverted. See my other listings for more Astroscan parts!
