Ed Schieffelin Photo / founder of Tombstone Arizona / Earp era LOT of 2

Description: **** Lot of 2 NEW Photos of Ed Schieffelin, Founding Father of TOMBSTONE ARIZONA Wyatt Earp Territory. **** This amazing discovery contains who I believe to be prospector Ed Schieffelin before he struck it rich! This is my personal assessment, and viewer is to draw their own conclusions as all sales are final. Schieffelin came from a prominent Pennsylvania and New York family. He took to his own as an Army scout when he wasn't prospecting on his own. He left home as a teenager and was down to his last .30 cents when he struck a rich silver vein in Arizona. He founded the town of Tombstone as it was what others had said was all he would ever find in that area! #1 is a 1/9th Tintype believed to be Schieffelin just prior to striking it rich in 1876-7. Full case. #2 is a 1/6th daguerreotype believed to be Schieffelin shortly after leaving home c.1865 and early into his prospecting career. Half case. These are very rare discoveries, worth several times the listing price. They will appear in a book I am involved with and are not subject to any form of compensation. Buyer agrees to my identity ascertainment and terms at the time of purchase. Bid accordingly. Thank you for helping my book publications. FREE SHIPPING in the USA!... fully insured.
