Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Antique 18th to 19th century hand painted Chinese underglaze blue canton ginger jar most likely from 1750 to 1850 exact date unknown item measures approx. 6-1/2 inches tall jar opening approx. 2-1/2 inches, base approx. 5 inches wide. The jar is very old and has a hairline glaze crack on one side. View pictures the crack seems only to be on the glaze not the pottery portion. the apparent glaze crackling measures approx. 3-1/2 inches long and it does not appear to go through the jar. This item will be double boxed to protect during shipping What's wrong with it? Vase is very old I can see one hairline crack in the vase as seen in pictures provided. The base or footing has minor chipping along the rim on the foot of the jar and needs a good cleaning as well. In the description I list this as possibly 18th century or 19th this is up to you to decide I am not an expert and item has not been appraised.
