It contains an 8-day movement and it chimes on the half and full hour (chimes beautifully). This clock works perfectly. It's weight driven by two brass weights. The clock is in excellent condition. As you can see this clock has a moonphase, so you always can see the position of the moon. This clock has normal some traces of age, please see photos. The height of the clock is about 54 centimeter and the width is 24 centimeter. In inches: the height is 21" inches, the width is 9" inches. The pendulum has the form of a sun.
