Description: KOREAN PEOPLE'S ARMY Uniform Set Doing some fall cleaning and want to make room in the closet. Uniform was purchased around 2010 and sold to me as a "Theater Troop" uniform--and I'll take it at face value that it was in fact intended for stage/theatrical use. No markings though remnants of white size or property tags can be seen at the back of the jacket's collar and front of the trousers waistband. Buttons are correct for the uniform style. Appears unused though there are very small marks on the collar where insignia was likely applied, and very small pull in the fabric on the left side of the collar. No buttons for the chest pocket closure--no evidence they were ever present. Trouser waistband buttonhole still has fabric intact and doesn't appear it has ever been buttoned closed. Likewise the cap appears unused with no markings or hole indicating prior insignia placement. Uniform is a large size with some generous seam allowances, which if it was in fact a uniform for stage use I figure the size/seam allowances were so it could be altered for whatever actor(s). Measurements are as follows: Jacket: Approx. 21 inches from pit to pit, about 42 inch chest. Sleeves are 25 inches long. Shoulders are 19.5 inches. Trousers: Waist measured while laying flat is 16 inches across, about a 32 inch waist. There is elastic on either side of the waist band can probably stretch an extra 2 inches. Inseam is 27.5 inches. Cap: Is about a metric size 60/ US size 7 1/2. To complete the uniform I am adding some extras: surplus KPA cap badge, 2nd Lieutenant collar tabs, one Chinese made single portrait badge, and an authentic but defect (the portraits are not aligned properly with the background layer) double portrait badge. Please look at the photos closely. Sold as-is and sold as a set. No returns please. Thanks for looking!
