The rod starts with a great carbon blank that is lightweight, powerful and able to handle fishing heavier loads. They have been outfitted with Fuji Alconite K Guides with stainless steel frames that are perfect for fishing braided lines and are corrosion resistant. The long EVA foregrip features cut outs on the underside that cradle your fingers. They give you great grip as well as a level of comfort when you are on the water. The rear EVA grip has an aluminum gimbal and a color coded Dark Matter ring so you easily know which rod you are grabbing. Dark Matter HK Casting Rods feature a Fuji graphite reel seat on the MH and a custom aluminum Dark Matter reel seat on the heavier versions.
