Description: CROWN 800 Series CX-824 Reel To Reel 2-Channel Recorder Tape Deck This unit is for parts or repair.I am not an expert in diagnosing equipment. When I had this hooked up to the RC-50 remote control (not included) it would rewind, fast forward and stop. When I hit the play button it would initiate but only for a short time.Without the remote it will rewind fine but fast forward and play do not work.The heads look to be fine but I was not able to run tape through it for a full test.The cabinet is in really nice condition. This unit is very heavy but will be packaged with the utmost care.
