It is sized to fit an adult with head measurements of 20" - 22" circumference, depending on how tightly you crochet. It does require a brim stiffener to keep the brim in shape. Materials required to make this hat are worsted weight yarn and quilter's template plastic for the brim stiffener. This pattern would be rated for Advanced Beginner skill level. Suggested yarns are - most #4 rated worsted weight yarn. The hat in the photo was crocheted using Caron Cotton Cakes in Amethyst Sky color. Caron Cotton Cakes is 60% cotton and 40% acrylic.
