Description: HERE IS A KIT I PUT TOGETHER FOR SOME CUSTOMERS WHO JUST WANT AM CHANNELS. This kit will add 40 channels below 1 26.955-26.515. Kit will work on cobra 2000/148/Washingtons and any pll8719 with the 11.3258 xtal.*Also can set it up to give 40 channels above ch 40 27.415-27.855.*You will remove the ll.3258 xtal and mount on the board and then trim the yellow trim cap for center frequency. *You will keep your AM/SSB for the regular 40 channels but new channels will only work for AM. Xtals will not tune for SSB.*Again some customers want this mod and not the pll mod the pll mod only goes to 26.815 and some wanted lower.Mount board as close to the removed xtal as possible with the 2 wires keep them as short as possible.I use hot glue to secure to the pc board in bottom side.Then black wire to ground and red wire to 12v with a switch to switch between both bands.This kit is like an Expo 100 kit but much more stable controlled by a relay to keep the wires short for limited driftingPlease message me for price and any further info you will need.
