Description: We do not know the exact age or origin of this piece. It has been in the family for a long time, always in a smoke-free home. There are no markings, tags, box, or labels with it. It is pretty obviously handmade because it is distinctly asymmetrical, which gives it a unique character. There are no cracks or chips. The only scratches are small ones on the base where it has been sitting on a shelf. We believe this was used for display only. There is some brown discoloration in the glass near the bottom. This actually looks a bit worse in the pictures than it does in person because of the way the glass diffracts and reflects light. But the discoloration only goes about two-thirds of the way around, so if you put that side toward the wall, it will be almost unnoticeable.
