Burns Antique Traveling Safe Handle Coin Bank with 1 new Locksmith key.THE MERCHANTS NATIONAL BANK of SAINT JOHNSBURG, VERMONT # 146A UNITED STATES NATIONAL CURRENCY BANK Description Deposit coins and bills in bank as they are earned. This bank has only 1 slot for coins and paper, on the top, no bill hole on the side. Heavy thick copper plated steel construction. Could be 100+ years old. An early model. Shows light outside wear and use. Shows stamped on case Patent Date of January 1, 1901+ 3 more dates. 1 new Locksmith key to open front access panel. Coin Bank appears to be quite early model. CONDITION This bank is in very good condition, has a nice patina copper plated finish. Slight wear on front, some plating wear and dulling on bottom and back, no dents or dings. Overall nice working condition. Appears to be made of magnetic steel copper plated. 4 " long, 2 " wide, 3 " tall. Name plate clear and legible. Front coin trap door intact. New Key works well. Put in and turn CCW 1/4 way around. See detailed zoom pictures for your review.
