Description: Here we have:an authentic antique postcard from the early 1900sfeaturing the: State Street, north from Adams Streetprints includes signs for the department stores, C.D. Peacock and The Fair, as well as what appears to be A. Jercomb (last name illegible) and Lapp & Lapp British (Isles or Ties?)Hold Card to Light style#2401L in the Chicago series by Joseph Koehler (New York/Berlin)in posted condition We have quite a few postcards from this series, as well as those in the New York series, in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. If the eBay shipping calculator doesn't correctly combine your items and/or overcharges you for shipping at check-out, never fear: we will issue a refund for the overcharge on the day of shipment. Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best and are the most important part of the description--please zoom in on them and examine them carefully. Very clean and fresh piece in excellent condition for its age. Postally used, with typical and expected marks to back. Only other signs of use are lightly bumped corners and the lightest possible wear to the surface and edges, as shown in the photos. Absolutely nothing sticky or otherwise gross, and no funky odors. Overall typical expected aging of materials, in particular the slight curve to the whole card, due to the additional thickness of layers of several layers of paper used in Hold to Light style postcards. Rest assured that we will do all we can to ensure that your piece of ephemera arrives exactly as presented in our photos. We invest time and appropriate materials into shipping all of our ephemera, and we provide tracking on all shipments. All pieces are sent in rigid mailers or envelopes that are sandwiched between cardboard before being sent as first-class parcels in non-bendable mailers, which ship at rates much higher than first-class letters. We never toss our ephemera into thin stationery envelopes with forever stamps stuck to them expecting the USPS to deliver them to you with great care. And we ship everything fully insured. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us. The Fine Print:We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message. We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
