Description: CGC 7.0 Rare SPORT BUGGIES Magazine #1 (July 1968) Vintage Dune Buggy Directory VW 240 HP Super Buggy History: Sport Buggies was published monthly by Magazine Distributors International Circulation Corp in Reseda, California. The publisher was Robert F. Ames, the same person who published Four Wheeler. Like most automotive-related magazines, the content focused on off-road racing, new products and testing, vehicle road tests, performance upgrades and how-to technical tips. The publishing schedule was bi-monthly in 1968 and switched to monthly in 1969. Its life was short, as content was then folded into Four Wheeler. A total of 12 issues was published from July, 1968 through October, 1969. Condition: Please check pics and notes from grader for condition. I'll also add that 7.0 is a remarkable grade for an off-road magazine; in my experience as a long time collector and seller these are often kept in garages and man caves and get torn up from lots of use.
