Description: Caudron 232......... is a variant of the Caudron C.230 aircraft, which was a sporting, touring, and trainer aircraft produced in France in 1930. The C.232 is a conventional biplane with single-bay, unstaggered wings of equal span. It has a wooden fuselage with plywood skin and features a pilot and a single passenger sitting in tandem open cockpits. The C.232 was part of a series of aircraft that included the C.230, C.233, and C.235. The C.233 was a prototype for testing the Michel AM-16 engine and was later re-engined with a Salmson 7Ac, reverting to the C.230 designation. The C.235 was a version with an Argus As 8R engine, built for French Air Ministry tests.Fifteen examples of the C.230 were produced before the more successful Caudron C.270 Luciole series was introduced. The C.232, like its variants, was manufactured by Caudron, with Paul Deville as the designer.
