It is a blue, green, yellow, purple, and orange note that is dated 1967 ND, bear the signatures of Octavio Gouvea de Bulhoes and Denio Chagas Nogueira, and measures 157 x 67 mm. Its obverse side features black circular BANCO CENTRAL 50 CENTAVOS overprint and Emperor Dom João VI wearing medals. Its reverse side shows ABERTURA DOS PORTOS (opening ports) represented by sailing ships at sea and seated allegorical Mercury wearing helmet with caduceus. This note does not have a security thread or watermark. Additionally, the note was withdrawn 30 June 1973.
