Description: Boy Scout Poem suitable for framing - "The Boy Scout's Mother Asked" signed on card stock with picture of the Eagle, Flag, and Eagle Scout Pin. This poem makes a great presentation gift at an Eagle Scout Court-of-Honor. (8 1/2" x 11" Card Stock) “The Boy Scouts Mother Asked.” was written by F. Darnall Daley, Jr. during the 16 years (1986 – 2002) that he was the Council Commissioner for the Hawk Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of American. It was first published in the October 1991 issue of the Herbie Hawk News, a monthly newsletter of the Hawk Mountain Council. In this poem the Scout’s mother laments that he has grown up. She traces his progress through the Scouting ranks. See other designs in my store - Darnall's Attic Findings Feedback from one recent buyer - "Perfect! Cannot wait to frame it.
