The dates in both in CE and AH are listed in front of the sphinx on the obverse. The reverse shows the denomination within wings with the words Gomhuriat Misr or Republic of Egypt. The coin is KM-383a and weighs approximately 7.00 grams of 0.72 silver. It measures approximately 26 mm in diameter.
