Description: Special notes for this item: This table is currently in our Belgian warehouse and scheduled to arrive here in our next shipment. Feel free to contact us for arrival details. Description of item for sale: This "dolphin" dining table is from France and it dates to the mid/late 1800's. Dolphin tables were popular at the time, almost always as rectangular desks or library tables. Dining tables like this, with cherubs riding stylized dolphins are rare. The table is oval and at 63" wide it is unusually large. It can be opened in the center to accept the 18" leaf that is with it. It is made from oak and finished fairly dark. This table is in very good antique condition with only very minor nicks and scratches. When this table arrives here at our Oregon facility we will inspect, clean and wax as needed prior to shipping to you. Dimensions: 72" long with leaf, 54" long without leaf, 63" wide and 30.5" tall. Pricing: because we can sell items earlier we don't charge as much. Prices for these advance purchase items are 20-40% below our usual pricing. Payment: you don't need to pay the entire price immediately. We request 50% when you purchase and the balance when the item arrives here in Oregon.
