Here is a great condition 8 day time, strike and alarm, solid oak cased parlour clock that was made by the Waterbury Clock Co. at Waterbury, Conn., USA well over 100 years ago. This is another clock like what you might see up on the fireplace mantle at Cracker Barrel and wish you could bring home. Actually, this would be a better choice because this clock has been serviced and is in good running condition. The movement has been cleaned and adjusted, so the clock runs good, keeps time and gongs properly. It is the antique wire gong style that has a really nice distinctive sound. The pictures show how beautiful and well designed the clock really is. The case is solid press carved oak in a dark rustic finish. Overall, it appears in great condition. The case measurements at the longest points are 22" high x 15" wide x 4 ¾" deep. This clock also comes with a key that fits.
