ANTIQUE RARE 18th CENTURY WROUGHT IRON ROOSTER FINIAL WHALE OIL BETTY LAMP GREAT

Description: For sale, a wonderful antique very old rare to find 18th century wrought iron whale oil, miners, betty lamp. This wonderful early whale oil, miners, betty lamp has a Rooster finial at the top of the lamp, very unique and rare to find, it may possibly been used at a old farmers house and not for a mine workers use. It also has it's original wrought iron straight stick with hook for hanging and also the chain and wrought iron piece. Beautiful large C shape handle, nicely curved shape. Their is a older wick in place. I have never used it, or did not ever light the wick. It is 5 inches long, stands 5 1/2" high to the top of the handle, not including the wrought iron hanger, 3 1/4 inches wide. It is in it's original found condition, some rust which is normal for it's age and use. I do not repaint items. I leave all items as in found condition.
