The platter has a rare shape in a Rococo, scrolls design. The hand painted pheasant has lovely bright colors and a soft pastel background and is surrounded by a subtle gold gilt border. It would work well as a vanity dresser tray or simply displayed in a cabinet or on the wall.It is marked on the back with a W.G. & Co, William Guerin, Limoges mark It was probably made around 1880-1900 in France.Dimensions:Length platter: about 12 3/4 inch or 32.5 cmWidth platter: about 9 inch or 23 cmCondition: Good condition, there are no chips/cracks or restores. Hardly any surface scratches and very minimal wear to the gold. See the photos. *Flower and stand in the first photo are not included.
