STONEWARE JUG BLUE COBALT DECORATION - BENNINGTON From a local estate we are selling this large 14" antique stoneware Ovid jug incised "L.NORTON & SON BENNINGTON" with the number "2" underneath. This large early jug also has nice blue cobalt decoration that look like some sort of flowers. The jug shows age evident wear with lots of discoloring in areas also a few minor chips one on the spout the other on the handle. There is also aa small hairline spider like about a 3" diameter towards the top I do not see any major cracks anywhere but you are buying this as is and I have taken a lot of quality pictures to try to show you how nice this antique stoneware jug is even with it's imperfections so......
